Printed Mesh Installation Guide

Check your mesh has the eyelet spacing you ordered — either every 500mm or every 1000mm — and gather cable ties or fixing clips rated for outdoor use. On very exposed sites, confirm your site engineer is happy with the fence bracing and any counterweights before you begin.

Position the mesh against the fence with the print facing out and the top edge level. Working along the top edge first, thread a cable tie through each stainless steel eyelet and around the fence rail, then repeat down the sides and along the bottom.

Keep the mesh taut but not over-tensioned. Snug, evenly spaced ties spread the load across all the eyelets and stop the mesh flapping.

Eyelet spacing directly affects how the mesh handles wind. Closer 500mm spacing gives twice as many fixing points and is recommended for windy or exposed sites; 1000mm spacing suits sheltered locations and shorter-term installs.

The open weave lets a portion of wind pass through rather than loading the fence like a sail, but on very exposed sites your site engineer should still assess fence bracing and counterweights.

To remove the mesh, snip the cable ties and lift it clear. The reinforced heat-welded hems and stainless steel eyelets are designed for repeated fitting and removal, so the same mesh can move from site to site over its 3+ year UV-rated life.

Roll the mesh rather than folding it between jobs — this prevents creasing across the printed area and keeps your branding looking crisp for the next install.
