What is printed shadecloth?
Printed shadecloth is a UV-stabilised knitted mesh fabric printed with your full-colour artwork. It's commonly used on construction hoarding, temporary fencing and event perimeters to display branding or safety messaging while still allowing some airflow through the mesh.
How much does printed shadecloth cost in Australia?
A full 50m custom printed shadecloth roll starts from $395, cut-to-length fence mesh banners start from $149, and coreflute site boards start from $45. How long does printed shadecloth last outdoors?
Our shadecloth and mesh banners are made from UV-stable materials rated for 3+ years of continuous outdoor exposure in Australian conditions. Actual lifespan depends on installation, wind exposure and how often the banner is moved between sites.
What is the difference between shadecloth and a fence mesh banner?
Both are printed mesh products. Shadecloth is supplied on a continuous 50m roll, ideal for long fence runs, while fence mesh banners are cut to fixed panel lengths (for example 2.4m, 5m or 10m). Mesh banners are typically heavier with reinforced hemmed edges for repeated handling.
What material is printed fence mesh made from?
Our fence mesh and shadecloth are made from 280gsm high-density polyethylene (HDPE) knitted mesh with a UV-stable full-colour digital print. The mesh provides 70-80% block-out while still letting wind pass through, and edges are heat-welded with reinforced webbing.
Does printed shadecloth block wind, dust and visibility?
Yes — the 280gsm mesh provides 70-80% block-out, which significantly reduces dust, debris and sightlines into your site while still allowing airflow through the fabric. This porosity is what makes mesh safer than solid banners on temporary fencing in windy conditions.
Is printed mesh safe on temporary fencing in high wind?
Our mesh is engineered to the AS/NZS 1170.2 wind load standard and its open weave lets a portion of wind pass through rather than loading the fence like a sail. For very exposed sites we still recommend your site engineer assesses fence bracing and counterweights before installation.
Is printed shadecloth fire rated?
Yes. Our printed mesh is compliant with AS/NZS 1530.2, the Australian standard for flammability of materials, making it suitable for use on construction sites and at public events where fire performance requirements apply.
Can I print my own logo or custom design?
Yes. We print full-colour custom artwork including logos, safety signage and promotional designs. Supply print-ready files and our team will check them before production. If you need help preparing artwork, contact us and we'll guide you through the requirements.
What artwork files do I need to supply?
A print-ready file such as a high-resolution PDF with fonts outlined works best, though we can also work with common image formats if they're high enough resolution for large-format printing. Our team checks every file before production and will contact you if anything needs adjusting.
What sizes and heights are available?
Standard heights are 1.6m and 1.8m for shadecloth and fence mesh, with site boards available from 600mm to 1200mm high and up to 2400mm long. For anything outside our standard range, use our Fence Quote Generator or request a quote for a fully custom size.
How much fence does a 50m shadecloth roll cover?
A 50m continuous roll covers roughly 20 standard 2.4m temporary fence panels in one unbroken run, with no joins or gaps in your printed branding. That makes rolls the most cost-effective option for long perimeter fencing on construction sites.
How are the banners attached to fencing?
Banners come with rust-resistant stainless steel eyelets at your chosen spacing (typically every 500mm or 1000mm). You attach them to temporary or permanent fencing using cable ties or fixing clips through the eyelets.
What eyelet spacing should I choose — 500mm or 1000mm?
Eyelets every 500mm give twice as many fixing points, which we recommend for windy or exposed sites and banners that will be moved between jobs. Eyelets every 1000mm suit sheltered locations and shorter-term installs; on custom quote panels the closer 500mm spacing adds $11 per panel.
Can printed shadecloth be reused on different sites?
Yes. The reinforced heat-welded hems and stainless steel eyelets are designed for repeated fitting and removal, so banners can move from site to site over their 3+ year UV-rated life. Rolling rather than folding the mesh between jobs helps prevent creasing across the printed area.
How long does production and delivery take?
Standard production is a fast 1-2 business day turnaround once artwork is approved. Delivery time on top of that depends on your location, as we ship Australia-wide. Contact us if you have a deadline and we'll confirm timing for your order.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes, we deliver nationwide directly to your site or address — including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and regional areas. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery postcode and order size.
Where are you located?
We're based at Suite 18, 202 Ferntree Gully Road, Clayton VIC 3168, in Melbourne's south-east. All printing is produced in Australia and orders ship from Victoria to anywhere in the country.

What are coreflute site boards?
Site boards are rigid signs made from 5mm polypropylene coreflute, starting from $45. They're available as pre-made generic safety signs or fully custom-printed with your branding, in sizes from 600mm to 2400mm, and fix to fencing through rust-proof stainless steel eyelets.
How do I place an order and pay?

Do your products come with a warranty?
